Description

Bouchard Père & Fils Meursault interprets the appellation through a blend of Chardonnay parcels vinified separately. Clay, limestone and marl occur in different proportions across the vineyards, making the cuvée a combination of several distinct sites. The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, then pressed in stages. Maturation includes French oak barrels followed by stainless steel. Fruit and flowers shape the bouquet, while richness and suppleness on the palate remain supported by freshness. The result is balanced and broad in texture without becoming heavy.
