Description
Bouchard Père & Fils Meursault Les Clous is a Chardonnay from a village-classified lieu-dit, vinified separately to preserve its identity. The name is a variation of the word clos. The vines occupy an east-facing plateau of calcareous marl in the higher part of Meursault. After hand harvesting and sorting, pressing in stages precedes maturation in French oak barrels and stainless steel. The bouquet combines fruit and flowers with a mineral accent, while the richness of the palate is balanced by freshness and a discreet oak influence.
