Description

Meursault Les Gouttes d’Or comes from Chardonnay grown on a gentle slope with limestone and marl soils and an east to southeast exposure. Already recognised in Dr Lavalle’s 1855 classification, this climat forms part of Bouchard Père & Fils’ Premier Cru range. The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand before pressing in stages. Maturation includes French oak barrels and stainless steel. The wine shows a pale gold colour with green highlights, notes of dried fruit and brioche, and a rich, complex palate with a balanced structure.
