Description

Curej is Braida’s Barbera d’Asti from the San Bernardo hills at Rocchetta Tanaro. Its name recalls the nickname of the family that cultivated this land, connecting the wine with the area’s farming history. Made entirely from Barbera, it undergoes skin maceration and a short maturation in large oak casks. Its ruby colour has purple tones, while the aromatic profile brings together fresh cherry, small berries and flowers with suggestions of liquorice and tobacco. On the palate, fullness, a dry character and savoury notes are balanced by clearly defined freshness.
