Description

Ego is a red wine from Bressan Mastri Vinai produced in the Corona area (Mariano del Friuli), in the province of Gorizia. It is made from a blend of Schioppettino and Cabernet Franc, harvested by hand and subjected to a prolonged maceration of about 30 days. After fermentation the wine is aged in oak casks (including 225 L French barriques) and then given further bottle ageing. Its structure and maturation profile make it suitable for extended aging.
