Description

Brigaldara’s Amarone della Valpolicella Classico “Case Vecie” comes from the eponymous high‑altitude vineyard in Grezzana (Valpantena), at roughly 450–480 m above sea level. It is made from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes that undergo drying (appassimento) and is aged two years in small oak barrels followed by two years in larger casks, producing a concentrated yet balanced wine with lively freshness. The bouquet shows red and forest fruit with floral and subtle balsamic hints; the palate is enveloping, tannic and long on the finish.
