Description

Pinéro is Ca’ del Bosco’s pure Pinot Noir, first produced in 1983. The project arose from a desire to work with a demanding variety capable of making the relationship between vineyard and environment especially clear. Grapes come from the Erbusco and Corte Franca area, in the landscape around Lake Iseo. Bunch selection precedes red-wine vinification, with fermentation and skin maceration followed by maturation in small oak vessels. Subsequent rest in bottle completes this interpretation of one of the varieties central to the estate’s history and its still-wine ambitions.
