Vintage Collection Dosage Zéro R.S. gives time a central role in its interpretation of Franciacorta. The initials mean “Recentemente Sboccato”, or recently disgorged: selected bottles remain on their lees longer than the regular release of the same vintage and are disgorged later. Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Nero contribute to a cuvée receiving no added dosage liqueur. Extended lees contact seeks finesse and elegance, while late disgorgement preserves lively effervescence. This is a traditional-method expression in which maturation and freshness are brought together through the same carefully extended journey in bottle.
