Description

La Virada is a Jurançon Sec produced by Camin Larredya in the commune of Jurançon, Pyrénées-Atlantiques (Nouvelle-Aquitaine). It is made from a blend of Petit Manseng (40%), Gros Manseng (30%), Petit Courbu (15%) and Camaralet (15%) and is aged about 10 months in large foudre. Pale-gold with green highlights, the nose shows peach, citrus (mandarin) and spice; the palate is broad, exotic, mineral and taut.
