Description

Camp-Atthalin Savigny-lès-Beaune Aux Champs des Pruniers comes from Pinot Noir grown in the sector towards Ladoix-Serrigny. The parcel has heavy, deep clay-limestone soil. The wine shows depth of colour and a clearly defined structure, with tannins of a rather velvety texture. It is one of the single-parcel cuvées from the estate revived by brothers Jean-Philippe and Jean-Édouard Camp in 2017. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts and maturation takes place in barrels. The approach favours restrained intervention to preserve differences between Savigny’s varied soils.
