Description

Canalicchio di Sopra’s Brunello di Montalcino reflects the family’s connection with Sangiovese and the northern side of the appellation. Its first vintage was 1966, four years after Primo Pacenti founded the estate. Three generations have since carried that work forward, combining respect for the land with a commitment to classically styled wines. Made entirely from Sangiovese, this Brunello expresses the estate’s commitment to tradition and its local landscape. Its identity is rooted in Montalcino and in a family history that has developed alongside the region’s reputation.
