Description

Vigna La Casaccia is Canalicchio di Sopra’s Brunello di Montalcino DOCG dedicated to a single vineyard within the Canalicchio cru. Planted in 1990, it lies between 297 and 315 metres above sea level and grows Sangiovese. Its predominantly clay soil contains calcium and a stony component, while the vines are trained to spur-pruned cordons. The estate sees this selection as a way to unite richness and freshness. Its general description highlights structure, depth and silky tannins, with the aim of preserving the vineyard’s individual identity.
