Description

Caprili's 2020 Brunello di Montalcino is a DOCG red wine made exclusively from Sangiovese grosso grown in the Montalcino area. The grapes come from vineyards at about 320–340 m above sea level on clay soils with notable stones; fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts and maceration lasts roughly 10 days. The wine is aged for about 30 months in large Slavonian oak casks and shows an intense ruby color with violet and lavender aromas, integrated tannins and a bright acidity.
