Carlo Viglione farms about two hectares in Cannubi, one of Barolo's best-known vineyards, with vines averaging close to fifty years on clay-silt soil. The Barolo ferments spontaneously with a long maceration and ages in large oak casks. The 2019 is broad and savoury, with violets, dark fruit and pepper.
