Description

The 2018 Il Caberlot from Podere Il Carnasciale is a red wine made exclusively from Caberlot grapes grown in the Valdarno di Sopra area near Mercatale Valdarno. It is released as Toscana IGT and is matured roughly 18 months in French oak barriques (about 50% new) with additional ageing in magnums. The wine is intended to showcase the distinct character of the Caberlot variety within its Tuscan terroir.
