Description

Les Caillerets holds an important place in Caroline Morey’s family vineyard heritage. Her vines occupy three levels of the climat on the limestone hillside of Chassagne-Montrachet. This Premier Cru Chardonnay combines old vines with knowledge of the site passed down through several generations. Indigenous yeasts and 350-litre barrels guide the winemaking, with carefully controlled use of new oak. The wine remains with its lees during maturation without bâtonnage. The approach seeks precision, depth and a clear sense of origin, reflecting the individual style Caroline developed after many years working alongside her father, Jean-Marc.
