Description
The Barolo Casa di Mirafiore Riserva 2016 is a red Barolo DOCG produced by Casa E. di Mirafiore in Serralunga d’Alba, Piedmont. It is made from 100% Nebbiolo and is created by blending wines from different estate vineyards. The Riserva bottling undergoes extended ageing (a total ageing cycle reaching five years, with the initial years in large oak casks followed by concrete and bottle ageing). It shows garnet hues, pronounced tannic structure and an aromatic evolution toward spice, red fruit and earthy notes.
