Description

Cascina delle Rose Barbaresco Tre Stelle comes from four small Nebbiolo parcels within the same geographical mention. Lean, compact marine soils are characterised by bluish marl and a strong calcareous component. Hand harvesting and gentle handling precede fermentation and maceration in stainless steel, followed by maturation in large untoasted oak casks. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration. The producer describes rose, violet and red woodland fruit, accompanied by freshness and dense, silky tannins. This interpretation of the cru combines character, finesse and persistence while preserving a clear expression of the vineyard.
