Description
Lieto Riserva, also identified by the initials LR, is a skin-contact Moscato shaped by Cascina Lieto’s particular 2020 harvest. Rie and Hiroto Sasaki selected berries carefully, retaining a proportion affected by noble rot. Fermentation took place on the skins in fibreglass before a lengthy period of rest and bottle development. The importer describes apricot, dried orange, geranium, rose and medicinal herbs in the aromatic profile. It is a concentrated interpretation of Moscato, closely tied to the conditions of that harvest and to the artisanal scale of the small cellar in Castiglione Tinella.
