Description

Soldera’s Sangiovese comes exclusively from the Case Basse vineyards in southwestern Montalcino. Manual work follows the grapes from the vineyard through cellar selection, down to individual berries. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in large Slavonian oak vats, supported by indigenous microorganisms and monitored through tastings and analysis. The wine matures for an extended period in large casks in the underground cellar, where temperature and humidity remain stable. Bottled directly at the estate, it undergoes further rest before release, keeping the relationship between Sangiovese, place and time central to its identity.
