Description

Soldera Toscana IGP is made exclusively from Sangiovese grown at Case Basse in Montalcino. The estate sees its wine as part of an ecosystem in which vineyards, garden and biodiversity support one another. Harvesting is manual, and selection continues in the cellar down to the inspection of individual berries. Fermentation in wooden vats precedes extended maturation in large Slavonian oak casks, with racking as needed and without fining or filtration. This restrained sequence places the origin of the grapes and the passage of time at the centre of the identity established by the Soldera family.
