Description

Calzo della Vignia 2021 from Castellari Isola del Giglio is a Tuscan white (Toscana IGT) made entirely from Ansonica grown in the island’s vineyards. The vinification includes roughly four months of skin contact, followed by six months in tonneau and at least 24 months of bottle maturation. Aromas and flavors show citrus and white-fleshed fruit with tropical notes, Mediterranean herbaceous hints and a marked saline-mineral tension typical of the island terroir.
