Description

The 2022 Castello di Bolgheri is a Bolgheri Superiore from Azienda Agricola Castello di Bolgheri. It is a Bordeaux-style blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, with Cabernet Franc and Merlot. After fermentation the wine completed roughly 20 months of oak aging. The fruit comes from hillside vineyards facing the Tyrrhenian Sea on calcareous soils typical of the Bolgheri area.
