Description

Monblanc is Castello di Buttrio’s white blend under the Venezia Giulia IGT designation. Grapes come from the estate’s hills, where Eocene marl and sandstone form ponca soils. Rows planted on hillside terraces benefit from ventilation and differences between daytime and night-time temperatures. After gentle pressing and settling, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel. Maturation continues on the lees, kept in suspension through periodic stirring. Flowers and fruit define its aromatic profile, while freshness and persistence shape the palate. It is suggested as an aperitif or alongside fish dishes and shellfish.
