Description

Langhe Pinot Nero i Cortini comes from the amphitheatre-shaped vineyards below Castello di Neive. The Stupino family began planting Pinot Noir in 1990, choosing clones and exposures specifically for red wine production; the first vintage followed in 1995. The wine matures in barriques in the castle cellars before continuing its development in bottle. Its red colour has garnet highlights, while the aromatic profile suggests small fruits, spices and herbs. Delicate tannins and suppleness accompany a persistent texture, centred on the expression of Pinot Noir in the territory of Neive.
