Description
Amadeus from Castello di Spessa is a vintage Brut sparkling wine made by the traditional method from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Its grapes come from the area around Capriva del Friuli and Cormòns, between the Isonzo plain and the hills of the Collio. Whole-bunch pressing is followed by separate vinification of the different lots. A second fermentation in bottle and resting on the lees form part of its production in the castle cellars. Its profile combines floral and citrus suggestions with a mineral element and a full, savoury palate accompanied by fine bubbles.
