Romito (Toscana IGT) from Castello Romitorio, vintage 2019, is a red wine made mainly from Petit Verdot and Syrah. Grapes from the Maremma are vinified and matured at the estate’s Montalcino facilities, with fermentation in cement followed by aging in wood. The wine shows concentrated dark-fruit character with floral and spice notes, a full-bodied texture and noticeable tannic structure that supports ageing. It represents a contemporary Super Tuscan-style expression from the estate.
