Description

Castello Tricerchi’s Brunello comes from Sangiovese harvested by hand in Vigna del Castello and Vigna del Velo on Montalcino’s northern side. The soils combine limestone-rich clay and sand, with western and northwestern exposures. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts and extended maceration in stainless steel, before maturation in Slavonian oak casks and rest in bottle. The general profile recalls ripe cherry, tobacco and spicy, floral nuances. Structure is accompanied by polished tannins and freshness that supports a persistent finish, expressing the estate’s approach to these two vineyard sources.
