Description
A.D. 1441 is Castello Tricerchi’s Brunello named after the year the castle was founded. It comes from hand-selected Sangiovese in Vigna del Castello and Vigna del Velo, on soils dominated by limestone-rich clay with traces of sand. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts is accompanied by extended submerged-cap maceration. Maturation takes place in Slavonian oak casks before resting in bottle. The profile brings together red fruit, chocolate and leather, with structure, silky tannins and freshness that carries its persistence, forming the estate’s selected expression of these vineyard sites.
