Description

Castiglion del Bosco’s 2020 Brunello di Montalcino is a Brunello di Montalcino DOCG made from 100% Sangiovese grown in the Capanna vineyard northwest of Montalcino. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel with an extended maceration, followed by roughly 24 months of ageing in French barriques and large casks (30–50 hl). The wine shows ripe red fruit and spice notes, pronounced but refined tannins, and a balanced structure (14.5% ABV).
