Les Perrières 2019 by Catherine & Pierre Breton is a Bourgueil made from old-vine Cabernet Franc grown on clay-siliceous hillside soils. On the palate it is structured and tannic, showing red fruit, spice and pronounced mineral character. Extended barrel ageing and bottle rest contribute to its concentration and balance. It pairs well with red meats, roasted dishes and game.
