Description

Cuvée Christian Reynal is a sweet Banyuls Grand Cru from Cave de l'Abbé Rous made from 100% Grenache noir. It is produced from late-harvest fruit with mutage sur grain and extended maceration, then aged oxidatively for about eight years in small foudres and demi-muids before bottling. The wine shows intense aromas of raisin and candied fruit with toasted notes of coffee, caramel and cinnamon; on the palate it is broad, concentrated and long-lived. Well suited as a dessert or contemplative wine.
