The 2013 Cayuse Cailloux is a Syrah from Cayuse’s Cailloux Vineyard, labeled Walla Walla Valley. It is primarily Syrah co‑fermented with about 5% Viognier and clearly expresses its vineyard origin. Aromas and flavors include red and dark fruit, earthy/mineral elements and a pronounced saline character with hints of mushroom and spice.
