Description

Albuca is Cécile Tremblay’s village Nuits-Saint-Georges cuvée, distinct from the premier cru Les Murgers in the estate’s range. It belongs to the story of a grower who, after studying in Dijon, reclaimed her family vineyard heritage and released her first wines in 2003. The approach favours an attentive relationship between soil, vine and environment through organic and biodynamic practices. Hand harvesting precedes vinification in wooden vats and maturation in barrel. In this interpretation of Nuits, precision of origin and care for the raw material provide the guiding references, from the vineyard parcel through to the finished bottle.
