Description

Cannubi San Lorenzo is Ceretto’s Barolo from the highest part of the Cannubi hill. The small east- and southeast-facing parcel retains a core of very old vines and is worked without mechanical assistance. Nebbiolo is vinified according to a traditional approach, and the wine undergoes an exceptionally long maturation journey, including rest in large-format bottles. The selection places the vineyard’s rarity and the role of time at its centre. The cuvée’s profile is described as refined and complex, with spicy and citrus suggestions accompanying its distinctive expression.
