Marena is the Chardonnay through which Ceritas brings together a selection of Sonoma Coast vineyards to express the coastal landscape as a whole. It sits alongside the winery's single-vineyard bottlings, offering a wine intended for earlier enjoyment. Both the winery's presentation and its distributor's account describe fermentation in previously used barrels, encouraging contact with the lees and contributing to palate texture. The coast remains the cuvée's central reference: several sources come together without one individual vineyard defining the entire wine. Marena therefore offers a complementary perspective on the estate's approach to Chardonnay.
