Description

Blanc des Millénaires 2007 is Charles Heidsieck's prestige Chardonnay cuvée, built around five Côte des Blancs villages: Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Cramant and Vertus. Stainless-steel vinification and malolactic fermentation precede extended ageing on the lees, central to the wine's texture. The 2007 retains a taut profile, with grapefruit, yuzu and quince notes accompanied by delicate smoky nuances. On the palate, incisive acidity meets an enveloping texture, lemon accents and a saline trace. This is a cuvée that develops breadth without losing definition, bringing together mature complexity and the clear line of the vintage.
