Description

Charles Heidsieck Blanc des Millénaires 2014 is made entirely from Chardonnay sourced from five Côte des Blancs villages: Vertus, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant. Extended lees maturation, approaching ten years, takes place in the house’s historic chalk cellars. The producer describes fine bubbles and an aromatic progression from mineral and saline impressions to citrus and kiwi, completed by brioche, puff pastry and dried fruit. The palate combines depth with a silky feel, developing an enveloping texture and delicate bitter nuances towards the finish of this vintage.
