Charles Heidsieck’s Ambonnay Rouge 2022 is a still red Coteaux Champenois made from Pinot Noir grown in the Les Saints-Rémys plot. The vineyard lies in Ambonnay, on the southern side of the Montagne de Reims, a place with a longstanding connection to the house. Its colour combines violet tones with garnet highlights. Kirsch, sour cherry and blackberry introduce the aromatic profile, followed by spice, chocolate, rosemary and sloe. The palate is structured and long, supported by freshness, with a dense balsamic finish extending the fruit expression.
