Description

The 2011 Chemin de Reims Extra Brut from Chartogne-Taillet is a Blanc de Blancs made exclusively from vineyards in the village of Merfy, in the Montagne de Reims. It shows a fine mousse and a fresh, saline profile with citrus and white-flower aromas framed by a mineral streak. The wine is extra brut in dosage and its lees aging adds tension and structure that support short- to medium-term cellaring.
