Description

The 2018 Château Brane-Cantenac is a Margaux 2nd Growth from the Médoc, led by Cabernet Sauvignon with supporting Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a small amount of Petit Verdot. Aromas show ripe dark fruit, the floral character typical of the appellation, and subtle spice and mineral notes. On the palate it is full-bodied and well-structured, with polished tannins and refreshing acidity that balance its density. It was aged about 18 months in French oak (roughly 70% new), adding elegance and depth to the finish.
