Description

The Château Carbonnieux Pessac-Léognan Blanc 2017 is a white Bordeaux from the Pessac-Léognan appellation. The 2017 blend is 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Sémillon, matured about 10 months in barrels and large casks with 25% new oak. Aromas of citrus and exotic fruit with hints of white peach, hazelnut and dried apricot lead to a palate where sweetness and acidity are balanced and the finish is long and complex. The wine shows an elegant profile with characteristic structure from its terroir.
