Description

Château d'Esclans' Garrus is a Provençal rosé made from estate grapes, including Grenache from old vines in the namesake parcel and Rolle in the blend. Harvesting during the cooler hours is followed by manual and optical sorting. The grapes are cooled and handled gently before fermentation. The wine ferments and matures in large French oak barrels, with lees stirring during maturation. This cellar approach emphasises texture and depth within a cuvée that seeks a balance between power and elegance in its expression of rosé wine.
