Description

Whispering Angel is the Provence rosé created through Sacha Lichine's project at Château d'Esclans. Grapes come from selected vineyards in the Esclans valley and neighbouring Côtes de Provence, with Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle central to the blend. Night harvesting, sorting and protected pressing help retain the freshness of the fruit. Fermentation and maturation take place in temperature-controlled stainless steel, with work on the lees. Its pale colour accompanies a dry style with a supple texture and smooth finish. This interpretation of rosé is built around careful handling in the cellar and an immediately approachable character.
