Y 2022 explores Château d'Yquem's terroir through a harvest and winemaking approach dedicated to its dry white. In the particularly hot, dry 2022 season, picking began as early as 9 August. Sauvignon Blanc is joined by a substantial proportion of Sémillon, contributing to balance and texture. The estate's technical sheet describes almond and floral notes, pear and white peach, followed by citrus impressions. The palate is broad yet lively, with a delicate grapefruit bitterness and a saline finish, offering an individual interpretation of Yquem's grapes and soils through this distinct wine.
