Description

Château de Beaucastel red comes from the northern part of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, exposed to the Mistral, on pebble-covered soils with sand, clay and limestone below. The Perrin family preserves a vineyard heritage encompassing the appellation's thirteen traditional grape varieties, cultivated organically since the 1960s. Harvesting and vinifying the varieties separately allows the blend to be composed after fermentation. The wine then continues ageing in large oak vessels. Beaucastel's identity is therefore founded on the diversity of its grapes and the pursuit of balance, elegance and the ability to develop with time.
