Château de Beaucastel Roussanne Vieilles Vignes 2014 comes exclusively from old Roussanne vines, harvested by hand and carefully selected. Its terroir combines marine molasse with a covering of rounded pebbles in the landscape of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. For 2014, the Perrin family's technical sheet records fermentation and ageing divided between wood and tank, with bottling after eight months. The white grapes developed through a season with a mild, damp summer and achieved good balance at harvest. This cuvée focuses its story on a single grape variety and the value of a heritage of old vines.
