Château de Bligny’s Blanc de Blancs is a pure Chardonnay Champagne from the Côte des Bar in the Aube. The vineyard extends around Bligny on steep slopes marked by Kimmeridgian limestone and a demanding climate. Its colour is pale gold. The aromatic profile combines white fruit, including compote-like suggestions, with floral nuances and a subtle saline note. The palate retains liveliness and delicacy, while the structured finish recalls caramelised nuts. The cuvée gives Chardonnay an individual expression within the château’s range of Champagnes and its local vineyard setting.
