Description

Clos du Château de Bligny brings together six Champagne grape varieties in equal proportions: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Meunier, Arbane, Petit Meslier and Pinot Blanc. Begun by the Rapeneau family in 2004, the project highlights a single Côte des Bar origin and combines widely planted varieties with less common historic grapes. The cuvée is presented as Brut Nature. Its profile combines generous fruit with a firm structure and a tangible textural presence. Bitter notes extend the finish, accompanying the character of the blend and the vineyard enclosed within the clos.
