Château de Bligny’s Grande Réserve combines Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in equal proportions, expressing its origin in Bligny within the Côte des Bar. The cuvée initially offers an autumnal profile before opening towards yellow stone fruit. On the palate, the texture is broad and the fruit fleshy, supported by natural richness. Suggestions of walnut oil accompany subtle nuances of cumin and chilli. Fine acidity remains present on the finish, providing balance to the texture and generosity of the blend as the wine develops across the palate.
